Planetarium Poem by Attoor Sreekanthanezhuthachan

Planetarium

On the planets, my son gave me a detailed speech
Strange even this day about nine planets they teach
The planets only eight is what now science preach
Dilemma what to believe, can't see, beyond our reach.

Mercury Venus Mars Jupiter Saturn Uranus Neptune
8th then 9th now stripped, on & on Pluto's misfortune
Two more out there, to see them scientists fine tune
Ensure we not alone, these planetsrule our fortune

Astrologers will soon amend their 9 planet theory
Spare Saturn, now all blame it if the life goes awry
Mercury Jupiter neutral mars still a case to worry
All their earnings from Venus, it makes you merry

Infinite, unknown this universe a wonderful creation
Human, a frog in the well, limited is our information
Understand we cannot, beyond even our imagination
9,10, keep counting, never will end this intoxication
