Planted In The Morning Poem by George Samuel

Planted In The Morning

This year, for beauty,
Let a maiden dance,
Sly like a queen on duty,
When her virginity is at a glance,
By a lad, stirring the fence.

Let destiny be fair,
On time, quicker than a train,
On those who wished to pair,
With sacred vows under the rain,
Sacrificing divers gains.

When the morning moves,
In the freshness of of the shinning sun,
For two to find their groves,
And make love on a pretty run,
Faster than the sound of a gun.

Then their fruits shall come,
In bloom and brown,
Their tree, beat the heat of storm,
When time has reached it crown,
And seed of them, swell the ground.
