Where she's from there is two different
ways of saying where you're from.
That second night on FaceTime
he asked her, "Where you from? "
At first, she thought that was his way
of hinting at her race.
When she responded he had repeated
what she had said.
She immediately knew what he was
really asking.
Yet he also did it with that sexy grin,
the look in his eyes when he playfully
asked her this.
That grin on his face
had her heart racing and melting.
All at the same time.
