Please Don'T Poem by Krystal Moreno

Please Don'T

Please don't cry at night
About the things you all never did.
Don't hurt your mind or body
Because he no longer lives.

It was not his choice to go
He's still longing for your care.
But please don't shut out all the others
You have a joy meant to be shared.

Take away that frown of yours
Your smile brightened up his days.
Write him notes in your journal
How he wished he could've stayed.

So please don't shed a tear
Remember all the times you had.
Get back into your schedule
He didn't want to make you sad.

Remember he'll be watching
From the heavens up above.
And if your ever feeling lonely
Just recall you were loved.
