Please Don't Go Poem by Alison Mujati

Please Don't Go

Please don't go.
It's my plea for you to stay.
Stay with me right here
Savor this storm.

From this tremendous journey,
I suffered the jerks of the train
Seeing it rise in mountainous places
Still falling deep in valleys.
heart-sinking experiences
No one reassured me.
Please stay.

Don't curse the day I met you.
God directed an angelic smile.
From a perishing soul,
Your parish-like heart saved my plight
Please stay, don't go.

Stay, as I correct my wrongs
Melt around me these thaws.
my calm pool
Let me swim to satisfaction.
Please, with sincerity in your voice
I want you to stay.

With the world against me,
I just want to be free.
You picked me from the dirt
Washed all filthy over me.
A glimmer of hope shone over me.
I'm getting used to being normal.
A therapy that works indirectly.
Directly, I can testify.
Rise above hurt to call you my own
To grasp the feeling
Never let it go.
Please do not go.

Your hugs soothe my nerves
Delicate kisses taking me to heaven.
I want to keep you and never sin again.
Your path is righteous
Sorry if this plunges into blasphemy
God knows you are the path to my joy.
My world on this earth has a consent.
The more you smile, the better I live.
So, and it's a plea, stay.

Sleeping to dreams you make fills my diary.
I wake up remembering your name.
Could this be what insanity feels like?
Am I a slave of love or it's what it has to be?
Either way, I have a great deal of feeling good.
Please stay, don't go.
