Plotted Greed Poem by Jennifer Rose

Plotted Greed

Slipping down farther
Nobody can any longer find her
The course of blood slows
She took the last blows
Cruel eyes stared down
Across her bloodied gown
The alter is still waiting
But she is no longer breathing
White clashes against red
Just as red as she is dead
Fingers out reached towards the church
No longer able to search
The man abover her starts to grin
as he feels the power of a win
His handsz covered in blood
But only to find out she was a dud
The wrong person at the wrong time
No one could see the commited crime
Glassy eyes stare up towards the sky
Past the black cloaked guy
Her whimpers are no longer sound
Her soul is now bound
Sold to the life of facade
Her fiance worrying is only deceitful
