Pneumonia Bringing Apiphinies

The night is tired
plans have fallen through
due to my head games
and what my heart is telling me to do
button up my jacket to the brim
the words i wrote on my mind
warm hands mean nothing
i trust the truth of my close friends
leave my phone on pause
cut everything that ties
break it all tonight
this silents brings about my greatest flaws
the snow seems fresh
i cant go home
sleeping dogs awake
with every flex of me breath
the cold air is comferting
brightens my nerves
figuring out everything
with the breeze casually moving
ill walk circles around town
ill burn it to the ground
if only it would grip your attention
ash to ash
ive gotten use to you
your smile
your laugh
ill change it up on the last stride
with frozen hands
and great white lights
what have i done
where am i
ill lay here eyes close
letting God take control
stars and outline by snow
i'm back
clear and calm
for once i hate the sun
ifor the first time
i could deeply cry
im a poet
say what you want
i write what ive done
and ive done what i want
not to win hearts
or cause chatter
not to lengthen speech
or to get there faster
benifits i cant stop
im a gentlemen
with a heart of gold
im so aware
ill let the vasteness of the sky
the freezing wind arise
and leave me bare
take a walk
right now
in the cold
out of your house
clear your head from a shuttering thought
bless those you love
cherish what you've got
