Gulam Abbas Hashmi

Poem - Poem by Gulam Abbas Hashmi

I run, they say from grounds of fact
And fantasize their every truth
Go round and round in praising it
Which not a penny does merit
For what is true and what is not
I make them both sound like a `sound`
Of hand that moulds but iron can
Impair does gets of candle wax
Likewise myself who pare the words
Valor does sprouts from terms I wrote
And flows a stream of hailing notes
Get jest of shaping phony world
I do believe in earthly thing
Unearthly though make myself write
But if my lexis make no hype
What would be guess the world alike
No one will say `hello` but shall
Will yell and hence will thud like hound.
