Amidst the angst and sorrows of life
we've to find our way out of the oppressive dark
there's a sacred candle within our heart
waiting to be lighted-- towards the sojourn of liberation we must embark-


Oh, let faith and hope abound
despite our past ruined dreams and brokenness:
the tears of past years each a lesson bear
at last redemption will bring us the long-desired rest.
