Poem No: 03. When You'll See In Me The Leaves Of Winter

When you'll see in me the leaves of winter
Or I'll seem to you desolate tower,
Don't be morbid like the Brazilians
Who dreamt - they would be the world champion.

One day I'll be a motionless river
Or an old dying tree without flowers.
But ne'er mourn like the mothers of soldiers
Who were wiped out in the Second World War.

When I'll be a useless horse by Time's load
And my nerves wont work in a right method.
Don't be worried like the failure students
Who lose their mental strength for few moments.

Then you'll turn o'er the leaves of my sonnets
To find my beauty and eternal youth.
