Poem No: 74. In The Heart Of Water Life Seeks Shelter Poem by Dipankar Sadhukhan

In the heart of water life seeks shelter
To live and nurture the dream for others.
He drinks nectar from the lips of water
To make the earth green with holy nectar.

In the heart of the sky clouds play and soar
To give birth to life and his creator;
And from heaven water falls on the earth
So that it can bloom and fill all with mirth.

Sun rays arrive at earth through the ether
To fill the waste land with fruits and flowers.
Sun beams embrace ocean, lake and river;
And then clouds are born to create water.

Water saves life; life rears Love and beauty
Which teach us how to love humanity.
