Poem Of The Day Poem by Nooooo Name

It seems our “friends” at poemhunter.com obviously believe poetry is dead.
Why else would all the ‘poems of the day’ be posted by poets who have all been dead for at least 100 years?
Why not pick from the list of poets who are listed in the top 500 who currently live and still post?
Maybe a corporate shuffle is in order?
I suppose out of respect they continue to regurgitate the classics but it seems to do more damage than good.
