Poem Soup
Take one large scoop of words,
Blend in rhythm
A dash of rhyme,
Sprinkle liberally
With metaphors
And stir gently.
Allow to simmer
For days at a time
Until flavors ripen.
Serve with a glass of wine
Beside a crackling fire
And golden moonlight
Spreading like cheese
Across the pages.
