Poems And Prose Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Poems And Prose

Rating: 5.0

Come publish a book of sweet verse
through the long years to treasure...
compose the writings, never in haste
or you will surely repent at your leisure.
A leather-bound book of poems and prose
with lines that appeal to the masses,
intended for dreamers, tender of heart,
today's young lads and young lasses.

Tell of those old-fashioned 'salad days'
the archives of music and history of love...
wishing wells and wedding bells
and archangels from heaven above.
When you pen your thoughts onto paper
displaying deep feelings and tact,
offend not one man; hurt not one man,
for there can be no turning back.
