Poesy's Serenade - Poem by Soren Valentine

Poesy's heart is difficult to discern.
She remains in the past; her songs are pleasant,
yet contain no rhyme.
She is dark and somber, yet within her core radiates hope.
But 'tis hidden hope.

Like the sea she makes the heart rejoice, yet a storm is ever nigh.
Like a rose she shows love; like a goddess she is elevated on ethereal pedestals.

This one I really enjoyed, intelligent, passionate
    and well written.
