Poetry lets the feelings out.
Whether they are happy, sad, angry, lonliness, disappointment. anything.
A poem is a piece of you.
Out there for the world to see.
You write for you.
No one else.
It doesn't matter if people like it.
Or hate it.
Or don't care for it at all.
All that matters is that its you.
People shouldn't leave this world without leaving some kind of mark.
Otherwise what was the point if you leave and tomorrow no one remembers you being here?
All that matters is if you have impact on anyone. someone.
Just one life.
And you will.
If you just put yourself out there.
A little bit of you.
That someone somewhere will relate too.
That will help them get through the day.
That's all poetry is.
A way to express, relate, and deal.
With anything.
Doesn't have to be good enough.
Or impress anyone.
And there's nothing else like that in the world.
