Poetry In My Veins Poem by Samkelo Dlamini

Poetry In My Veins

I've got poetry in my veins
it comes, naturally
from my genes
I then use the brains.

I let it all out,
as it was not meant to be oust
I escape the world of cruelty,
just through poetry.
I escape the world of fear and negativity,
the world of casualty,
with the art of poetry i enter the world of prosperity
through the deep words and phrases of poetry,
the beautiful and endless art
It is everywhere because it needs no laboratory.
