Pointy Hair Poem by Robert Gilchrist

Pointy Hair

Broken English Finnished in Russian
Tractor and potatoes on icy tundra
Pointy hair do's and pointy shoes
Fender guitar counterpoint to Tuba
Road trip through America
The manager's eating the profits
Wedding gig in Mexico
I wonder when the violence starts
They hurt him badly
You always get murdered
When you come to New York
I got the badge in '87
And a bunch of postcards
Only fan in Australia
One person in this club
