Lying on the floor
Barely alive
Fighting to breath
Fighting for my life
You poisoned me.
With your eyes
Just one look
And I couldn't put up a fight
You spread your poison
With your lips
Though my veins
I should have seen through that kiss
Your touch turned me
White as snow
And you left me to die here
All alone
You poisoned me
Nice and slow
And your poison was so sweet
It wasn't until it took effect
That my insides started to bleed
I should have read the bottle
I confused you
For a cool drink of water
Next time I'll read before I drink
Next time I'll be smarter

I should have seen through that kiss. Thats my favorite line. Like the in hindsight realizaion. Also, you carried out this metaphor well from beginning to end.
