Poison In The Well. Poem by Sarah Kelly

Poison In The Well.

Poison in the Well

Small and tall
lifeless and frightless
how can one think-
deep and free
thin and meek show me how you sleep-
I have poisoned the well
not a word to speak
simply a sip to drink
worth is nothing
choice is disgusting
flow clouds flow but dont disturb the well

simply no one can feel
don't trust a soul
not even with a wisper
listless view settle the horizon
trees still grow, green still goes
orange and yellow remain

such a lifeless rain
why not just stop the pain, just for a moment
circles, rings, chains you must mean
round and round sickening things
peace not near only fear
not a dropp of warmth

letting go, standing tall
going, going, never far enough-
never gone
I will make it
I guaranteed it
now no more fight, its simply a sighting
I poison the well
and just kept walking
