Poker Face Revisited Poem by John Ackerman

Poker Face Revisited

Lady G in her place to be flashing that smile making sweet history
so you want to get next to me kind of sweat with me
getting bust in the jeep peeps would squeek forget about those satin laced sheets
busy in a daze out making a purple haze some homeboy better act his age
sitting back in my crib chilling with some tender ribs
everybody is acting a bit whacky with their chewing tabacci
Snoop is settling in his grill cheap thrill it pays the bills
us common folk can't even cope as we have a fight with the soap on the rope
been combersome my friend sipping on sweet Colada with whom you can depend
the radio is playing are favorite song can't we all learn to get along
keys in the ignition so what are we dissing this homeboy is still out on a mission
Lady G is beautiful you see from her head down to her knee
made it all the way to the Superbowl in a Goldie Locked stay

tonights the night we make history while you sit next to me
rap to the rhyme to rhyme for a reason busting out on the season
challenge to be free with the high cost of creativity somthing up their sleeve
golden hearts etched in stone we out holding a track as good as are own
sand blasting, acting & always striving
Queen deva her name's up in lights burning it up to the edge of the night
that is her right she is no joke you see she fulfilled her highest degree
sweet legacy with what one is willing to achieve
stand back for more with one foot in heaven then the other is out the door
