Politics Poem by Francis Duggan

Politics

No votes for politicians in the plight of the homeless it does seem this way
On people in poverty most of them does have nothing to say
One does not feel in any way any bit surprised
That politicians do ignore the marginalized
In today's world money is most important there can be no doubt
The financially down they are counted out
So sad for poor people in the Human World of today
In society it does seem they have no part to play
In a World where for one to win big many does have to lose
To be poor and marginalized anyone does not choose
Those who tell you all people are equal believe their own lie
Equality does come on the day you do die
No votes for politicians on talking of those in dire poverty
Money speaks every language is how it seems to be.
