Pond Poem by Marty Thibodaux

Pond

Rating: 5.0

Beautiful, serene, this pond
breathes of life,
for many are the creatures which
grace it's grassy shores.
Silence, tranquility, imparts
spiritual bliss, allowing the
soul to slow down, experience
the moment.
A dragonfly lands on
a nearby lily.
A beautiful blue color it is,
a specimen of fine ingenuity.
I stare into it's face,
large, dark eyes stare
back at me as if saying,
"Isn't this pond beautiful? "
