Ponder On Pen's Imprint Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

Ponder On Pen's Imprint

Rating: 5.0

Asleep amidst deeply dark night,
What use dreaming of dawn's delight?
If mid-sea storm there be to fend,
What use the charm of coastal land?

You need light in this darkling night,
What use is dawn's promise so bright?
Endless vast stretches an ocean,
What use musing of a shoreline?

Ways and means of pens may be vast,
Illumine they can't a dark past,
It is no good today to fast
To enjoy morrow's rich repast!

Amidst wordy webs, warps of print,
O Ponder on your pen's imprint.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Poetry might muse on reality of life. It is not always of help. Words may look fine in print, but often can't walk the talk in life.
