Pools Of Serenity Poem by June FeirCruz

Pools Of Serenity

Rating: 5.0

You witnessed my chaotic life
The abominable way that I am treated angered you.
It illicits compassion in you
You want to shelter me from harm that hovers all around me.
You think I allow for this irrationality to consume me
And that I have a choice to leave this insanity
Where do I go from here?
How do I start living again?
Tears welled up in my eyes
My spirit nearly defeated
And I looked up and I saw your face
I see your blue eyes: my Pools Of Serenity
And that moment I knew: I will be alright.

In our life - the Universe gifts us with exceptional people, whose presence uplift us. We thank our lucky stars when that happens. Thank you, Ted for your observation and kind words.
