Popcorn Poem by Romella Kitchens

Popcorn

The little boy in row 3 won't sit his ass down.
There's a man holding a cross and doing catechisms
waiting for the movie to begin in row 5.
And,4 women who are from the actor's fan club huddle close together in row 9, as well as a jittery, silver-haired man wearing a jeans jackets and telescopic eyeglasses.

The movie begins and even with so much difference,
we all go to that land, that place with the actor and the rest of the cast, that room of sacred imagination.
