Portsmouth And Southsea Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Portsmouth And Southsea

Forty words

Colours of the southern sky
tell us a sunny morn is nigh
over Hampshire's golden shore.
So in our smart clothes, tailor-made
let's wander along the promenade
and visit the gardens there...
honouring history's 'Horatio Nelson',
pride of Angleterre.
