Poseidon Poem by Marton Dezso

Poseidon

he envies the man
just like the other gods do
and since the Old Friend Ulysses has left
his dreams are nothing about

fishes, dolphins, whales
and of course the man who’s getting brave
the sea is no more what it used to be
a cold and blue water-grave
