Positions Of Trust & Hypocrisy { An Unorthodox Double Septet Sonnet } Poem by Frank James Ryan Jr...fjr

Positions Of Trust & Hypocrisy { An Unorthodox Double Septet Sonnet }

Rating: 5.0

The positions we take when under pressure
are not necessarily our positions at all.
Acceptance is an element of human need
that we dare trade-off with our dignity;
as we've all been there, it's only human,
Those who say, ''No, Not Me'' are usually
the first to reveal their insecurity...

The positions we take when under pressure
are not necessarily our positions at all.
Suffice to say if we want loyal friends,
it be helpful to trust their good words,
be able to voice our minds without burden;
for if not, then our voices should rise,
stare down hypocrisy dead in its' eye's.
