But to every storm there is always
A silver lining that can be found
A band of friends, a collection of “strays”
Perfect harmony, seemingly unsound

Highlights of the day consists of laughter,
Of teasing and those random discussions
Could have been a meeting of disaster
But it works, filled with silly expressions

I can leave the house flustered and upset
Yet with my friends, it melts away like rain.
The decision of a future gone yet
Replaced with a calm these friends cannot feign.

What I look forward to, ray of light and
Of all, they are the reason I can stand.
