Possibilities Poem by Carolyn Brunelle

Possibilities

He never gave up hope,
Stopped trying,
Or believing
In a world of possibilities.

Never able to reach any
Further in his own life,
He instilled the dream
In his children. And when,

That flame flickered and died,
The embers still lit fires;
Warmed other hearts and souls
Who carried that hope, that faith

Forward into
A future, where
His children’s children
Could finally reach to the stars.
