Post Meridiem Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Post Meridiem

Post meridiem
After the azure zenith of day
as they say

I Will Not Bring His Ghost With Me

For he was gone
Long gone
And though he rests into his grave
He will not stir
He shall not move
But
Fine
Fine dust
His sacred bones shall be.
