Postal Plane Poem by Pete Rivera

Postal Plane

I stare
Into the black void
And wonder how the stars die
While they appear
Throughout the open air
Most do not really care
But I would like to find out
The distance between the earth and the sun
I blink
And then I miss the comet
Floating silently away from here
As I break into a dirge
The devils will emerge
To breathe the oxygen away
And blast off into space
Because on the moon there is no one
I am sitting low class
On a postal plane
I dont't want this nightmare to last
I'm about to go insane
And I am buckled
For this terrifying death ride
As the plane went slow I chuckled
My dreams I won't confide
I am floating away
In a black and blue parachute
To a wormhole so minute
And I am thinking about
The lifeless forests of winter
Correct me if I'm wrong
But I know sadness
And it feels as if the whole world
Is frowning on me =(
