Potbelly Poem by Charles Kanyuga

Potbelly

Rating: 5.0

I've been thinking
Yeah! Watching
Men ever with a polished brow;
A clammy face
From all day long toils
When it's got in their hands,
before it gets into their mouth
Their eye already on another's
because they can't have enough
For their paunch
One needs one plate at a time
a spoonful for every bite
a mouthful for every sip
why, you that wear purple,
do eat from meager?

you're poetry is so simple, yet so moving, It breaks my heart, men's greed, its vile nature, you're very philosophical, also very lyrical... I really like that in a poetry
