Pounding Heart Poem by Alexander Foald

Pounding Heart

Apparent at the corner of my heart
Such beauty never lasts than any second of thought
I want to keep her smile as good as it made from the start
Forever in mind, lighting up my sky at night

Like a burning sun through the heavy rain
She shows a sign of wonder no one could imagine
Like a warm breeze that blows the curtain
She walks away from one’s eye to another glance

Like a calm butterfly on a sweetest flower
She is the queen of lone hearts around her
And like a naked child blushes for the first time
She invents the pure color of blossom shine

I wonder how to define her beauty in our worldly words
What remarks can imitate the passion in her beloved kiss?
Happiness and joy intertwined with jealousy and pain
As our hearts long for each other in a lost transmission channel

But my heart keeps pounding whenever I see her
I can’t even read my mind every time we’re together
She lets me treasure every single day I spend here
I just hope time flies longer than forever
