Powder - Poem by Jacques H. Guiteau

Powder, each day on your cheek
The idea makes me jealous

Outrage because something
Penetrates my rose's skin

An appearance filled with love
You will possess it forever

Deliberately, you make yourself beautiful
Unfortunately, I am far from her

Ravishing, she becomes more beautiful
That makes my desire grow

Eternally, you will fire it with emotion
But you cannot deter my passion
