Power Of Forgiveness Poem by Roilynn brown

Power Of Forgiveness

DIVINE LAW

Forgive us our sin's, as we forgive those that sin against us.

MAN's LAW

Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

MORAL LAW

Forgive us our transgressions, as we forgive those that transgress against us.

Forgiving yourself allows you to freely give more of yourself.
Forgiving others allows you to freely receive more of yourself.

When we apologize for undesirable actions,
it is a defense to release ourselves from punishment.
It does not have the Power of Forgiveness.

An excuse is an informal apology to lessen blame for inadequate actions.
It does not have the Power of Forgiveness.

To say I am sorry is a polite way to be released from the guilt of actions.
It does not have the Power of Forgiveness.

Regretting does not release us from the sorrow of unfortunate actions.
It does not have the Power of Forgiveness.

The Power of Forgiveness

It is absolution that release one from guilt,
anger of the will and retribution by punishment of offensive actions.

It is exoneration that release one from the fault of wrongful actions.

It is remission by providence and cancels punishment,
of unrighteous actions.

It is dispensation that release one from man's law,
ordained by divine providence, of unwilling actions.

It is clemency that pardons one for the errors,
of misguided actions.

It is the mercy of heavenly compassion,
for one's undesirable actions.

Forgiveness is a voluntary intentional process,
for one to undergo changes in feelings and attitudes,
of negatory emotions and vengefulness.

It is the Word of God!

Matthew 5: 7
 5: 23-24
6: 14-15
Mark 11: 25
Luke 6: 27-29
6: 36-37

This is the
POWER OF FORGIVENESS!
