Praise To Rain. Poem by David Kinyanjui

Some praise the rains, because they need to grow.
All they have had is warmth and in baited breath waited to glow.

Some praise the rains,
because it is remedy to their pains.
No one will see their tears,
as they let out all of their fears.

Some praise the rains, because it is healing,
Especially the voice of the drops of rain singing.
Some praise the rains, because it keeps them sane,
As they look out through the window pane.
