Pray For Me Poem by Violet Warren

Pray For Me

the fesh blood is out to play
but the concept is all that i need
the moon just swallowed the day
and I'm knee deep
maybe it's because of these dreams that I pretray
how much more pathetic could I possbly be?

the liner has been broken
the cause just pierced the pen
the vase just was shattered
but it won't let me in

time has escaped me
even though it's still by my side
I have to let go of this promise to you
until the next time
I can't escape my own reflection
It won't leave me be
this sin is following me around
these dark city streets

please slow down, this going by way to fast
I've just hit mass hysteria and my heart is beating through my chest
I don't understand, how this could be the case
I even sometimes wear my seatbelt every other day
pray for me
