Prayer For The Grotto Of Lourdes Poem by Michael J ORourke2

Prayer For The Grotto Of Lourdes

Prayer for the Grotto of Lourdes

How do we pray in this cloud- filled night

How do we unearth the grotto's Marian light?

Her water seeps through the rocky veins

The candles illuminate her hallowed domain

We pray like the golden saints on the wall

With Ave Maria's floating heavenward by all

High through the misty air Our Lady marches strong

As the chant of the rosary uplifts the throng

Meanwhile, our anxious hearts beat apace

Acknowledging the Spirit's full-some grace.

And Our Lady smiles- with our souls laid bare!

As we lift our eyes in reverent prayer
