Prayer of the bones Poem by Carlos Obregón

Prayer of the bones

Rating: 3.5

Prayer of the bones
Time of cloister and prayer of ogive
Simultaneous insect
Ovary that is ill and watches
Pupil in the blood
Primordial star in the pupil
Arcane night of fire
Incense in the vocable of oblivion
Praise of rain
Echo of cistern lost in the light
Blind crystal in the wind
Timeless instant among the wax candles
Psalm of stone and river
Our Father of bread and clean hands
Scale in the desert
Mother of bread, bee of matins
Springs of first fruits
Lunar step and infinite dome
Submerged language
Abandoned hive of oblivion
Early and nimble trills
Virgin ear under the anointed wind
Bell of silence
Vesperal hosanna in the void
Tense fervor of fire
Uninhabited tower of the soul, perfect altar
Flight among the trees
Night, ash and sleeping season
Fountain of the lips, lamp offered
