Prayer Of The Wavering Poem by Vivian Kohler

Prayer Of The Wavering

Rating: 2.0

Be patient Lord, though arrogantly we stride,
Blinded to the pitfalls of so false a pride.
Forgive us Lord, for ignoring proper chide,
Entering into carnal doors open wide.
So obvious that somehow we've missed access,
Detoured through the world's secular choices,
To find us stranded in life's deep wilderness,
Oh God, take our dismays, lift our transgresses.
We've condoned our mistakes with little disgust,
Let not that continue, redirect our thrust,
Knowing your basic rule and absolute must
Is that life is made up of but Faith and Trust!
