Prayers By Midnight Poem by Deepak Calyampoondi

Prayers By Midnight

The sun sets in a dim pink,
It's night in just a wink,
The stars smile down by their twinkle,
Beauty is seen under the moon lit jungle.

The radiace is blue and silver,
Full moon face always to remember,
The shimmer on the head,
Is the star dust of the Angles,

Smiles spread, people gather,
They bathe him in milk,
And their hearts do sink,
For the music of the trickling flow,
With enlightment body does glow.

The sacred scents spread,
Bring alive all the mortal dead,
kindness from above is on the heads,
Be blessed to see the sight by the full moon light.
