Preach The Word Poem by Ojeikpo Elijah

Preach The Word

In realms of faith, where truth takes flight,
A sacred mission shines so bright.
'Tis Preach the Word, a call divine,
To spread God's love, a task sublime.

Oh, hear the summons echoing clear,
To every soul, both far and near.
Go forth, ye messengers of grace,
Baptizing hearts, in love's embrace.

In Father, Son, and Spirit's name,
Proclaim the truth, without a blame.
Teach and share the Savior's might,
Guiding souls to eternal light.

Across the earth, in every place,
There's someone yearning for God's embrace.
Arise, ye faithful, strong and bold,
Let the Gospel's flame unfold.

Through valleys deep and mountains high,
We'll carry forth the Word, supply.
For in our hearts, a treasure rare,
The key to set the captives free, we bear.

The Father, Son, and Spirit true,
Our guiding light, our strength anew.
With them, we face each trial's test,
As we proclaim the Word, so blessed.

With every baptism, souls reborn,
A new creation, love's adorn.
Teach and guide, with steadfast care,
Their faith shall flourish, beyond compare.

For God's Word lives, its power vast,
Sharper than swords, it comes to pass.
With love and truth, we preach and share,
Restoring hearts, beyond repair.

So let us not in toil grow weary,
This mission, sacred, pure, and cheery.
The harvest waits, abundant, wide,
Yet workers few, a pressing tide.

Go forth, ye faithful, brave and strong,
With Word as shield, to right each wrong.
Disciple nations, great and small,
Till earth is healed, and love enthralls.
