Precious 3 Minutes (Just One More) Poem by Christopher Montalvo

Precious 3 Minutes (Just One More)

Rating: 3.5

As we kissed,
Savoring your precious lips,
My mind raced to a time,
Where we made love as the sun-shine,
Reflected off your eyes,
And at bed-time,
I could rest my head on your chest,
Cuddle and protected in your arms,
Safe and warm until the break of dawn,
Where the stars aligned themselves,
In the shape of the key,
That unlocks the secrets in my guarded heart,
With every kiss, another inhibition released,
With every stroke, another fantasy achieved.

Pleasure so new,
Sensation so surreal,
An embrace so innocent and pure,
Wish I knew before,
That your love was the cure,
Seconds of affection,
That soon turn into treasured memories,
Wishing for more time on Cloud 9,
Just one more kiss to bring me,
Back down to the ground,
So glad that you opened my eyes,
To all the possibilities,
The countless daydreams,
That comes from loving someone who loves me,
Allowing me access to your soul,
Love leaves us vulnerable,
But I don't regret,
That I opened my heart to you.
