Revival Poem by Christopher Montalvo

Revival

As I stand on this faded gray line,
I witness the world pass me by.
Stagnant and still, with no more dreams to fulfill,
I've lost all of my desire and will.
They said life is for the alive,
So we should keep living it until the day we die
But as time flies by,
My experiences tell me the life I led was a lie
Deception and treachery brings about prevention,
Trying to repress me from seeing their true intentions
So, our hearts and souls must band together,
Otherwise, we will be lost in this battle that lasts forever.
