You bumped into me,
the keys fell from my coat
into your hands
so that you could unlock
that gloomy hollow.
I fell for you,
in that moment,
but not as if I knew
you were in need
of as much as I was,
but I fell for you
to fill you up
with my bleakest darkness.
I wasn't fair to you.
You lent me your ear,
breathed hope into me,
but I just poured over you
more of that darkness.
I fell for you,
and stood up again
and walked away.
That wasn't fair,
but right for you and me.
