Pre-Ordained Poem by james watkin

Pre-Ordained

The flower of my choosing
Is one faced, soft, serene
Set down of hand, shadowy
For season unforeseen.

Lily, of my singling out
For unspoiled innocence
The earth-garden's lord, love's hour
To bloom gives preference.
