Presence A Myth - Poem by Anele TheAfrikanSon kaMthethungqongqo Potelwa

Past tells presence
And presence passes it
To the envied future
But this myth goes on

As there is no
Such a thing as present
Today is past
And tomorow is future
But when the sun rise
It is all declared a past

For every second I breathe
For every minute I live
I declare all that past
And so i live it behind

But for every morning
I await
That is where the future is
And for every morning
I live behind
That is where the past lies
There's no presence
