I heard you whisper to me last night,
your breath warm in my ear as you spoke to me.
Standing next to me, bright as day.

I could't understand what you said,
it made no sense to me.
Just sounded like the crashing of waves.

I know you have a message,
what can be so important that you visit me,
in the silent dark hours.

Decipher the message and make it clear,
Come visit me again, make yourself known,
I know you frequent this place.

I can't always see you, and you make no noise,
but your presence is around me.
You are around me all the time.
